Colorfield Releases Xproof for Mac

Color visualizer supports OS X By Dave Nagel
Colorfield Digital Media has released Xproof 1.0 for the Macintosh. Xproof is a real-time color previewing tool for working with digital media. The new software is available now for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

Xproof allows designers to visualize color appearance across different devices, including Windows and Macintosh monitors and various broadcast video formats. For designers working with accessibility issues, it also simulates color appearance to colorblind viewers.

Xproof is a stand-alone application that works with onscreen color. It can also show color values for common color spaces and provide HTML color labels. It also allows HTML values to be dragged or copied into HTML files and for screen previews to be dragged to the Desktop or image-editing application.

Xproof sells for $29 for a single license, $99 for five and $179 for 10. It's also available as a demo from Colorfield. For more information, visit
