ColorMatic To Be Bundled with Imaging HardwareOEM version of ColorBlind provides entry-level color profiling
ColorBlind ICC ColorMatic EZ will profile scanners, monitors and printers in a software-only solution. Once a scanner is profiled, it is used to measure targets to create a printer profile. The monitor is profiled using a visual calibration technique to balance grays and RGB guns through the controls of the video card. Imaging Technologies will also provide a reduced-cost upgrade path to the professional version of ColorBlind.
In the next few months, ICC ColorMatic EZ will include a new architecture of ColorBlind, which will include support for digital cameras, multi-channel printers and other color devices.
The company's professional-level color profiling suite, ColorBlind, is available for Macintosh and Windows. The Professional version is bundled with ColorBlind Prove It! and ColorBlind Edit to provide a complete ICC solution from scanner to monitor to print. The company also produces ColorBlind Matchbox, an all in one ICC-compatible color matching solution for Mac and Wndows. Matchbox includes software for creating ICC profiles of any color device, a colorimeter for creating printer profiles, profile editing and image soft proofing with ColorBlind Edit, Pantone, and spot color calibration with ColorBlind Spot.
