Click 3X Donates Servcies to Program for Children and Adolescents with AIDS and the Twin Towers Fund.

(November 07, 2001)
Click 3x recently donated creative design services to the Association of Independent Commercial Producers and Kodak for an invitation to the AICPs annual holiday fundraiser. The event, which will be held December 3, will benefit the Program for Children and Adolescents with AIDS and the Twin Towers Fund.

Designed by Click 3xs Evelyn Lim, the invitation centers on a 3D image of an 8 ball, a reference to Slate, the New York restaurant and billiards club where the fundraiser will be held. The ball is rendered in red, not black, giving it somewhat the appearance of a holiday ornament. The numeral has been displaced by a lapel ribbon, half colored red, for the AIDS organization, half colored in the stars and stripes for the Twin Towers fund. ?I wanted to find one image that would say it all in an elegant and sensitive way, said Lim. ?I started out with red in keeping with the AIDS ribbon, but it also relates to the holidays, the AICP and the stars and stripes. It ties it together and made the design visually strong. The graphic will also appear on tickets to the event.

The Program for Children and Adolescents with AIDS is operated by the New York Weill Cornell Medical Center of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The Twin Towers Fund provides assistance and support to the families of the members of the uniformed services of the New York City Fire Department and its Emergency Medical Service Command, the New York City Police Department, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the New York State Office of Court Administration and other government personnel who lost their lives or were injured because of the tragedies of September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center in New York City.

Tickets for the AICP holiday fundraiser begin at $150.00.

Click 3x is located at 16 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10010. For more information, call (212) 627-1900.
