Ciprico To Demo DiMeda 10G At IBCNon-linear editing workflow, using centralized NAS product (July 02, 2004)
At IBC Ciprico will demonstrate a non-linear editing workflow, using the first 10 Gigabit Ethernet-enabled centralized Network Attached Storage (NAS) product, the Ciprico DiMeda 10G, which is being introduced for the first time to the international community at the show. The demonstration features editing of multilayer HD television using both compressed and uncompressed HD content. The DiMeda 10G scales to nearly 10TB using low-cost Serial ATA (SATA) drives.
