Cimatron V. 12 Release Provides Enhanced Tooling Industry Support

Cimatron Ltd., a leading developer of CAD/CAM solutions for the tooling industry, today announced the worldwide release of Cimatron IT Version 12.

Version 12 increases toolmakers' flexibility and productivity with unique modules including QuickSplit, QuickElectrode and MoldBase 3D. Performance enhancements include upgraded Data Interface and NC modules and specifically the software's high-speed milling strategies, which improve the tooling process, shorten production times and reduce costs; Quick Tooling, a set of established and successful applications sold in the last two years; QuickSplit, a tool to accelerate the process of splitting core and cavity, create parting lines and parting surfaces; QuickElectrode, an EDM electrode extraction and design solution used to shorten the electrode design process; and MoldBase 3D, an intelligent, associative application to automate mold base design.
