Christophe Navarre And Alain Gourrier Say UNCLEDirectors join the UNCLE team (February 02, 2006)
UNCLE announced today that it has signed directors Christophe Navarre and Alain Gourrier. Navarre comes to UNCLE from RSA; Gourrier was previously repped by Tate USA.
Said Bryan Farhy, Executive Producer/Partner UNCLE, ?I met Christophe a few years ago in Cannes and we got on very well. Eric and our new executive producer Nancy Osborne have both worked with Alain, so theres a good relationship there also. We expect great things, and were very happy to have them.
Christophe Navarre will continue to be repped by Irene in Paris and RSA in London for the European spot market. Navarre started out in commercials while living in Los Angeles and working as an assistant director under the late Jhoan Camitz, as well as Stéphane Sednaoui, Jean-Baptiste Mondino and Martin Scorsese. He was signed to Satellite Films in 2000 and earned a Young Directors Award at Cannes that same year.
Alain Gourrier was most recently repped by Los Angeles production company Tate USA, where his enigmatic visual style made him a top choice for advertisers such as PlayStation (Gourrier directed last years PS2 spot ?Blender via TBWA/Chiat/Day), Ericsson, and Range Rover. Before joining Tate, Gourrier directed through Bruce Dowad & Associates and A Band Apart. He lives in Venice, California.
