China Subway Purchases Forty Inscriber Inca RTX SystemsInscriber's Inca RTX chosen to provide subway passengers live updates (March 02, 2005)
Inscriber, a subsidiary of Leitch Technology Corporation and a leading global provider of broadcast solutions, announced today that the Nanjing (Nanking) Subway Network, located in Nanjing, Jiang Su Province of China, has purchased forty Inscriber Inca RTX systems. The forty real-time data display and graphic systems will drive a new channel for subway passengers.
"The Nanjing Subway Network purchased forty Inscriber Inca RTX systems to launch a specialty channel for our passengers, " stated Mr. Zheng Shang, marketing director, product business I, Cyber Solutions Network. "We transport approximately 473,000 passengers a day, and we wanted to develop a customized channel that would let us effectively communicate with our passengers. We required a solution that provided attractive broadcast-quality graphics while offering our developers an efficient environment to create the specific channel for our application. Inscriber is well-respected for its graphics, and using Inca RTX means we gain the advantage of integrating live data in our channel to keep our passengers informed."
Inca RTX is the most flexible and capable real-time 2D/3D graphics, video and clips platform available. Inca RTX is a developer's tool for creating custom broadcast applications, such as up-to-the- minute data in sports, weather and elections; dynamic graphics and effects within interactive programs, game shows and shopping channels; and multiple layers of graphics, video, and animations in news and information channels.
