Channel Storm Ships Live Channel Pro 2.1

Webcasting software gets real-time color adjustments, Panther support By Dave Nagel
Channel Storm has released an update to Live Channel Pro, a real-time Web broadcasting system built around QuickTime technologies. The new 2.1 release adds support for the latest Apple software and also includes other enhancements and new features. It's available now for Mac OS X.

Live Channel Pro is designed to function like a broadcast production environment, offering multipls live and archived video and audio feeds, titling, still image support and other features. It includes real-time transitions and effects, as well as a built in Webcasting server, video output capabilities and the ability to record Webcasts to disk. The new 2.1 version adds Panther and QuickTime 6.5 support; real-time color adjustment; bandwidth display; improved text rendering; the ability to lock video layers to stay on top; improved reliability for multiple input devices; improved audio and video synchronization; support for third-party capture settings panels; and absolute time offsets in the HREF track.
