Canto Rolls Out Cumulus 6.0.1

Canto has released Cumulus 6, an update to the company's asset management system. The new versions of the Single-User and Workgroup editions of Cumulus 6 are available now for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Solaris.

Cumulus is a server-based asset management system targeted toward professional graphics users. It includes administrative features, central user management an embedded Java plugin technology that allows for customization. It also offers asset management and access in one window and a keyword list display option. The new 6.0.1 update provides improved stability and performance across all supported platforms, but particularly for Mac OS X 10.2.8, according to the company. And it gains enhanced support for Adobe InDesign documents, improved drag and drop support and new versions in French and German.

The Cumulus 6.0.1 update is available now free for current users. The single-user edition for Mac OS X and Windows sells for $69.95. Server solutions for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Solaris run $2,495 to $13,995. For more information, visit
