It includes Microfine Droplet Technology, Exif Print support and Vivid Photo mode for enhanced photo quality. The i350 printer can also produce 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" borderless photos. It will sell for $59.99.

The new i250 printer also offers a high-density multi-nozzle printhead with Microfine Droplet Technology for up to 4,800 x 1,200 DPI in color. It operates at speeds up to 12 PPM in black and up to 9 PPM in color and will sell for $49.99.

Both the i350 and i250 include software for Macintosh and WIndows. The printers themselves support Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and WIndows and will be available in July.

Canon's new LiDE 50 Color Image Scanner is a slim, flatbed scanner offering USB 2.0 connectivity. It provides an optical resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 DPI and 48-bit color input and output. It also includes automatic dust and scratch removal. The scanner comes with Macintosh- and WIndows-compatible software, including Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0; ArcSoft PhotoStudio and PhotoBase; ScanSoft OmniPage SE OCR and ScanGear CS; and CanoScan Toolbox. It also includes two Windows-only utilities.

The CanoScan LiDE 50 is compatible with Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows and is expected to ship next month for $99. For more information, visit http://www.usa.canon.com.
