Canon Brightens Projector Line

LV-7545 offers 3,700 ANSI lumens By Dave Nagel
Canon today introduced a new model in its line of digital projectors. The LV-7545, which should ship by the end of this month, offers 3,700 ANSI lumens of brightness and is available with four different lens configurations.

The new projector's brightness is user-adjustable (3,200 to 3,700 ANSI lumens). It supports native XGA resolution (1,024 x 768); an 800:1 contrast ratio; and a variety of media ports supporting digital and analog video sources.

The standard configuration includes a zoom lens designed for medium-sized rooms where the projector will be positioned in the middle of the room. This configuration sells for $8,499. Other configurations include:

  • An ultra wide-angle lens for extremely short throw distances, such as rear projection setups.
  • A wide-angle zoom lens, also designed for short throw distances.
  • And a telephoto zoom lens for large throw distances, such as those in long rooms or auditoriums where the projector will be positioned at the rear.

The last three configurations are each available for $9,499. For more information, visit
