Canadian Author to Publish Four-Book Epic Adventure Series in First Year

(May 11, 2012)

BROCKVILLE, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/11/12 -- Matt Chatelain plans to release a four-book series, 'The Sirenne Saga', in his first year as a published author. Book One, 'The Caves of Etretat', a fast-paced, five-star, thriller/adventure, was released in Dec 2012. Book Two, 'The Four Books of Etretat' has just been released. Books Three and Four will be out by Sept 2012.

In 'The Caves of Etretat', Canadian bookstore owner Paul Sirenne is thrust into a quest for answers when his parents are found murdered, their bodies cut up into the letters H.N. A note sent before his father's murder drives Sirenne to seek out the roots of a long-forgotten family secret.

He heads to the town of Etretat, France, on the trail of a hundred-year-old mystery hidden in the pages of 'The Hollow Needle', by Maurice Leblanc. Together with Leblanc's great-granddaughter, Sirenne unearths puzzles, codes and historical mysteries, exposing a secret war against Adolf Hitler for control of a cave fortress hidden in Etretat's chalk cliffs.

'The Caves of Etretat' is the first in a four-book epic adventure following Paul Sirenne, an average man unknowingly manipulated into becoming the key in the final phase of a complex conspiracy spanning millennia. Inextricably woven into history, the series re-writes everything we know in a non-stop rollercoaster of a ride where nothing is ever as it seems.

The Sirenne Saga has a pace like no other. Each book goes faster and covers more ground than the previous. What seems like a roller-coaster Da Vinci Code morphs into a quest to answer mankind's deepest questions: Why are we here? Is the Universe real? What is it all about?

The scope of the story required the entire series be written before publication. As a result, the author can publish all books in one year as his first release. So, no waiting to discover how it ends which is good because waiting would be intolerable for a series like this.

The Sirenne Saga introduces a new answer to the Rennes-le Chateau controversy, raised by 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail'. It does so from an original perspective, involving all of history and most conspiracies in the doing. In addition, Book Four finishes at the beginning of Book One. Changed by the revelations learned in the series, it becomes Book Five.

Matt Chatelain has been writing most of his life. After retiring early with heart problems, he decided to write his first fiction book. Research exposing an amazing secret hidden in Etretat forced him to change that into a four-book series. The Sirenne Saga is his first official release.
