CS Odessa Releases ConceptDraw V

Visualization software adds scripting and custom styles By Dave Nagel
CS Odessa has released ConceptDraw V, an update to the company's flowcharting and diagramming application. The new version features a redesigned interface and new scripting language. It's available now for Mac OS X and Windows.

ConceptDraw is an illustration tool designed to combine various graphic elements, including charts and diagrams. New features include a scripting language called ConceptDraw Basic for creating custom visualizations; floating dialogs and customizable toolbars; anti-aliasing; improved usage of system resources; support for XML for Visio; access to ODBC-compliant data sources, a redesigned text engine; Vector Picture technology for working with complex CAD documents; support for custom styles; automatic saving; and password protection.

ConceptDraw V is available now for Mac OS X and Windows. The standard version sells for $149, while the Pro edition sells for $349. Upgrades start at $79. For more information, visit
