CBS Entertainment Chooses REZN8 To Create On-Air ImageHollywood digital arts studio wows executives and wins CBS?s business for seventh time (May 11, 2005)
CBS Entertainment has given the green light to REZN8 Productions to produce the networks 2005 on-air graphics and visual image. CBSs new look will be unveiled to advertisers and industry insiders at CBSs Upfront Meeting in New York City May 18th 2005.
The scope of work, which includes graphics and animations that promote the CBS brand, its primetime shows and on-air stars through all its affiliate stations, is something CBS addresses annually as it looks to freshen its image and attract new advertisers and viewers.
?Each year we reach out to many agencies for ideas that will keep the CBS brand evolving, said Ron Scalera, executive vice president/creative director CBS Marketing Group. ?REZN8 once again has found what we're looking for and knocked us out. They designed a full identity package that builds on our brand momentum and will attract both a wider range of viewers and advertisers then ever before.
So far, CBS has approved a vision and REZN8 is working on how the graphics fit all their promotional applications. During the current production phase, REZN8 is making final adjustments to designs and animations that CBS will debut at their New York meeting. CBSs new look, graphics, and tagline may appear in part on-air over the summer to promote upcoming fall shows, but wont officially debut to the public until September 2005.

REZN8s Creative Directors Seton Kim and Tom Palmer are leading the creative team as they have on the past six CBS makeovers while Steinhaus will serve as the executive producer on the campaign. The team is addressing the entire on-air presence for the network from color, layout and animations, to how the imagery works with affiliate station graphics.
