C4-Sports Moves to Las Vegas Convention CenterShift accommodates significant exhibitor interest (February 09, 2006)
The inaugural C4-Sports Technology Conference and Exposition, to be held July 17-19, 2006, in Las Vegas, has moved from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
The move of C4-Sports to the LVCC stems from the need to accommodate the substantial meeting room space and technology requirements of an increasing number of committed exhibitors and promotions partners. The C4-Sports Technology Conference and Exposition will be housed in the upper level of the South Building at the LVCC.
?Our goal is to make C4-Sports an all-encompassing event, so when our prospective promotions partners and rapidly growing exhibitor base expressed the desire to have access to meeting rooms for private demonstrations, we chose to shift to a venue that could accommodate the technical demands of such gatherings, said Gene Sanders, general manager of C4-Events. ?The LVCC is a venue where many C4-Sports exhibitors have a history of participation in a wide variety of shows and events.
C4-Sports, the only technology conference and exposition dedicated to sports technology, will feature keynote speaker Duke University and Olympics Mens Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski and the Sports Media and Technology Conference, produced by Future Media Concepts.
Decision-makers from across the industry will be attending the event. Representatives of professional and collegiate sports teams; sports media experts in production, editing, content creation, and distribution; and IT and communication professionals from sporting arenas, stadiums, and facilities will be exploring state-of-the-art media technology solutions designed to improve performance, create revenue-generating opportunities, and increase profits.
