ByteSnap Design continues awards success with a hat-trick of nominations

  (October 17, 2012)

Birmingham, UK (PRWEB UK) 17 October 2012

ByteSnap Design Ltd, a specialist in embedded systems design and development, has continued its impressive 2011 awards success this year with three prestigious design-focused nominations in 2012.

ByteSnap Design was shortlisted for two Elektra Awards: Design Tools and Development Software for its SnapUI lightweight development framework and Design Team of the Year for design work on electric vehicle charging posts for London 2012.

ByteSnap Design is also a finalist in the British Engineering Excellence Awards 2012 Consultancy of the Year category, again for the second year in a row, thanks to its expertise in embedded hardware, embedded software and embedded systems development.

Dunstan Power, Director of ByteSnap Design, said: Being shortlisted for these three awards is a great honour, especially as two nominations are for categories we won, or were shortlisted for, last year. Winning any of these awards would be a true achievement, showcasing our continued growth and the design successes we have celebrated over the past year. From our intrinsically safe explosive-gas meters and London Olympics charging posts, to high performance algorithms for Road Angel on iPhone and apps for Android and Windows smartphones, we have enjoyed a busy twelve months and hope these award nominations will see our client base grow even more in 2013.

The embedded systems design and development consultancy is no stranger to awards, having won an ICT Excellence Award in 2010 for its SnapUI lightweight user interface (UI) customisation tool and being named 2011s Design Team of the Year at the Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards.

ByteSnap Design was also one of only three UK design companies awarded Silver Partner status Microsoft in 2011 in the Windows Embedded programme.
