Broadcast Industry Veteran Terrence Becht Joins Harris' Radio Broadcast Unit As Sales Manager For Southern Central RegionBecht to represent Harris across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana (May 04, 2007)
Mr. Becht brings more than 20 years experience to his new position, including 14 years as Eastern Sales Manager of Radio Products for Electronics Research, Inc. (ERI), a manufacturer of radio, television RF and tower products; and seven years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Central Tower, Inc., a tower manufacturing company.
“In my previous position with ERI, I have built broad contacts with radio stations in this area. I will continue to strengthen those relationships as I promote the broad Harris Radio product line,” said Mr. Becht. “I am excited to represent the breadth of Harris Radio's comprehensive, end-to-end product line.
“The industry is in the midst of a transition to HD Radio™, and many stations, especially those in the smaller markets, are still facing technical challenges and seeking expertise and support,” said Becht. “My goal at Harris is to make their evaluation, product selection and transition to HD Radio™, both at the studio and at the transmitter site, a smoother and more effective process.”
