Brian Donnelly Joins Editional Effects

Adds talented editor Brian Donnelly to its roster (September 30, 2005)

Manhattan editorial house EENYC (www.editionaleffects.com) recently took another step in cementing its reputation as top-notch full service post facility when it added talented editor Brian Donnelly to its roster. Donnelly now joins the EENYC team of five editors, two audio engineers, two compositor/designers, and a friendly and helpful support staff in their quest to bring the New York creative community the finest post-production service available.

With over ten years of experience serving the television industry, Donnelly is a seasoned and skilled editor with a strong graphic design sense. A recent alum of edit house SolariumNY, Donnelly served there as partner and editor catering to clients including Animal Planet, Lifetime Television, USA Network, CourtTV, CBS, and the Cartoon Network. Previously he held positions as a producer/editor for MSNBC Creative Services and the NBC Network Advertising and Promotion department, and served in various non-editorial freelance capacities on VH1's "Hard Rock Live", MTV's "Live from the 10 Spot", and "Storytellers".

It was during his stint at MSNBC that Donnelly originally met EENYC President and Founder Mike Gutowitz, who was editing for the channel when Editional Effects first opened its doors in 1995. The two kept in touch, and when a position opened up at EENYC, Gutowitz immediately thought of Donnelly for the job.

?Brian is a great fit for this facility, says Gutowitz. ?He has a creative editorial style paired with a great flair for graphics that can be seen in all of his work. He's an editor who loves to do his own treatments in After Effects, and his clients appreciate that extra effort he brings to all of their spots.

When Donnelly saw the resources Editional Effects offers to producers to help them make the transition from concept to completion seamlessly, he jumped at Gutowitzs invitation to join the company: ?EENYC's ability to truly offer a complete post-production solution with editorial, audio, and graphics will afford me the luxury to spend more time on the creative, and ultimately deliver a higher quality product to the clients.

Producers are able to turn to Editional for editorial, high-definition broadcast design & animation, mixing, composing, and sound design services all under one roof. An Avid Unity networks two Avid Media Composer and two Avid Symphony Suites to two audio suites running Digidesign ProTools HD3 Stations, a voice over booth, and three HD graphic design workstations.

Enthuses Donnelly, ?I'm very excited to be joining the most creative and professional team I have ever worked with. It's very refreshing to find a post-house that shares the same dedication to creativity and quality as I do, and that knows how to have fun at the same time.
