Body ID sought in blast at Ga. 'Chicken Man' homeAuthorities work to ID body found in home of Atlanta suburb's 'Chicken Man' after explosion
ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) ' A medical examiner is working to identify the body found after an explosion and fire in the home of a suburban Atlanta man known for his fight to keep chickens on his property.
Authorities have not said if the body was that of Andrew Wordes, who was known as the "Chicken Man" for his long battle with officials in Roswell over keeping poultry and livestock.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/H9VLFS) that the body could be identified as early as Tuesday, but the process might take longer if dental records are required.
The house that burned Monday belonged to Wordes. The house was in foreclosure and marshals were there to evict him. Instead, fire officials say someone poured gasoline in the house and set it on fire.
