Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) May 30, 2011
Not long after Loyal Studios opened in Santa Monica, California, celebrities of varying status called Bob Bekian asking to shoot on the new stage. The studio is located in the center of the city's media district and is equipped with the latest HD and 3D technology, making it a favorite among A-list talent. Snoop Dogg quickly became a fan of the facility and continues to use Loyal Studios for many of his diverse projects. Snoop Dogg and Bekian formed a professional partnership on the first shoot they worked on together which was a music video with Young Dre for the (EA) Electronic Arts launch of the game Fight Night 4.
The music video entitled Cheah Bah also featured Bernard The Executioner Hopkins, and Sugar Shane Mosely. We brought in these amazing talents together to box with Snoop on our greenscreen stage, and Ill go on record saying that Snoops got some moves, Bekian stated. Then we brought in Snoops Lakermobile a 1965 Pontiac Catalina. Snoop and Mike Epps simulated a ride-along in front of the green screen. The final product was composited, and a live kick-off of the video game premiered with Mike Tyson and Snoop Dogg battling live with the game at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA.
The second collaboration between snoop and Bekian was for branded content, promoting Adidas, and Skull Candy Headphones. We set up a news desk set on our Santa Monica stage, and had Snoop and Bishop joke back and forth, and comment on current events, says Bekian. It was hilarious, and much of it ad-libbed. Snoop Dogg and Bishop donned Adidas wear and Skull Candy headphones during the shoot. Snoop is an incredible talent, Bekian adds. Besides his rapping and performance talents, he is a gifted comedian, writer and businessman, and its great to work with him on so many levels.
The third production was a commercial for Pepsi Max. A fireplace scenario was created for Snoop to recline by as he recounted the Pepsi Max version of the famous Christmas poem, The Night Before Christmas to the Pepsi Max spokesperson. The final outcome got over 250,000 hits on Youtube in one week.
Each of these projects was shot on the SONY EX1 and Canon 5D camera systems, which are tapeless, high definition workflows available through Loyal Studios technical department. The final content was edited on Apples Final Cut system.
