BitVice MPEG-2 Encoders Updated

New versions support VCD, SVCD, XSVCD By Dave Nagel
Innobits has released updates for its BitVice family of MPEG-2 encoding software. The new 1.3.3 versions get bug fixes and support for additional formats, including various VCD formats. They're available now for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

The BitVice line includes the BitVice MPEG2 Encoder, BitVice Lite MPEG2 Encoder and BitVice G3 MPEG2 Encoder (a special full version designed specifically for G3-based Macintosh systems). The full versions for G3 and G4 include batch processing, pulldown, fixed GOP and spacial and noise cancellation filters. All of the new versions offer bug fixes and additional support for VCD, SVCD and XSVCD.
