Best Booth Location: Da-Lite, the 103 year-old AV company was front and center, again.
Best Seminar Presenter: Roy Hermanson of Extron (Roy also won InfoComms 2005 Educator of the Year award)
Best Booth Presentation: rp Visual Solutions, Randy Pagnan gave me a ?speed tour and actually showed me every product in his booth, logically, in less than 60 seconds - and , I understood it all.
Best New Product InfoComm 2005: hands-down, no competition at all. Its Polyvisions Thunder product. If you are not a dealer for Polyvision, become one as this product is incredible (read more about it in this issue).
Best New Flat-Panel Display: Samsungs 460pn 46 LCD monitor I was blown away with the quality of this! Check it out.
Best New Projector: (tie) Christies DW30 wide-screen 720p DLP projector (3000 ANSI lumens) --- This product rocks! And, projectiondesigns F3 SX+ projector (1400 x 1050, 5500 ANSI lumens at only 27 pounds).
Best New Staging/Rental Product: Barcos iCon H900 9000 ANSI lumen, 1920 x 1080 native resolution projector.
Best New Audio Product: Extrons SI-28W in-wall speaker series
Best New Video Product: (tie) Grass Valleys Turbo and RGB Spectrums MediaWall 2000
Best new Conferencing Product: Polycoms QSX data collaboration interface. A very creative and simple solution to data connectivity on an audio conference.
Best New ProAV Networking Product: Avocents Emerge WMS1000 Media Streamer a full-motion video, wireless networking hub that streams 8 sources of video, s-video, audio and RGB signals via a network.
Overall Most Creative New Product: (tie) Crestrons iMedia Interfacing system which sends computer-video, audio, control and power signals through a single Cat5e wire. And, Polyvisions Thunder Product.

Best Classy Party: (tie) Crestron's We Will Rock You party and TIs partner party staring Huey Lewis (he sounds EXACTLY as he did on all is 80s hits!)
Best Wild Party: Extron
