Bangor Bed and Breakfast Stays Ahead of the Curve with new Website Design and Creative Breakfast

The new site features a clean, green look, as the color dominates the header and footer of the site, a Tour the Inn page presenting a slideshow gallery of the two story, three guestroom home, and a responsive design site conforming to the window or screen of the device thats viewing the site.

The responsive design is the most important part of this redesigned site, as mobile web users are expected to eclipse desktop users in 2014, according to Microsoft.

The site looks beautiful, Innkeeper and owner Saundra Haley said. My old site could not be adaptable to any iPhone or mobile phone. Search engines are looking at sites that can do that.

Beyond the website, which Haley said represents her Victorian Maine Bed and Breakfast perfectly, what makes Fiddlehead Inn unique is the exclusive vegetarian style breakfast every morning from 8 9:30 a.m. The reason behind the vegetarian/vegan breakfast: Haley herself is a vegetarian. Saundra is a graduate of Hippocrates Health Institute's three week, Life Change Program in West Palm Beach, Fla. She wants her guests to eat healthy as well.

Its important to watch what youre eating and I thought it was a niche, she said. Theres not too many bed and breakfasts like this around and a lot of people are changing their eating habit.

Theres also not a lot of bed and breakfasts that has Fiddlehead Inns location either. Just a stones throw from historic Bangor, Maine, this bed and breakfast is within walking distance to the Bangor waterfront, shops and restaurants. Bangor is bustling in the summer time, with summertime concerts, the American Folk Festival in August, Hollywood casino, and a new arena that plans to open in Fall of 2013.
