BUMPS FOR BOOMERS® Announces 2011/12 Mogul Ski Clinic Dates and Early Sign-up Discount Promotion(August 08, 2011)
Aspen, Colorado (PRWEB) August 08, 2011
BUMPS FOR BOOMERS, an innovative ski instruction program for Baby Boomers that teaches how to ski moguls safely and in control, has released its 2011/12 clinic schedule. The schedule includes six four-day clinics, two weekend three-day clinics and two MBA clinics. Clinics begin December 9, 2011, and run through March 8, 2012.
The Baby Boom generation continues to be the largest demographic for the North American skiing industry and BUMPS FOR BOOMERS is the only mogul and powder skiing program in North America that is designed by Baby Boomers, for Boomers and taught by Boomers. Founded by Joe Nevin, former executive with Apple Computer, the ski program was created on Apples design principles of innovation and complexity made simple. Nevin says, Our market research discovered that the primary skiing goal of Baby Boomers is skiing longevity. It also told us that Boomers were tired of being stuck in the intermediate rut on over-crowded groomed runs. But fear of injuries keeps them skiing the same groomed blue runs year after year. BUMPS FOR BOOMERS has engineered a ski instruction program that meets Boomers physical needs with a simple user interface between the skier and the mountain. We restore the joy of skiing and give Boomers the freedom to ski the whole mountain.
More than 70% of our participants return for repeat clinics and more than 97% of Bumps for Boomers clients rated our program Significantly or Somewhat Better than similar programs, states Nevin. The December clinics sell-out early because people use them as a tune-up to kick start their ski season. It's a great time to come to Aspen because hotel rates are lower and the slopes are less crowded. We designed our December schedule for more flexibility. Clients can use the four-day clinic to hone their techniques and then extend right into the MBA clinic and explore new mogul terrain on Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountains. Or, they can do a quick tune-up weekend December 9-11.
In addition to the mogul skiing clinics in Aspen, BUMPS FOR BOOMERS offers complimentary weekly skiing tips and an online ski fitness program. Bill Fabrocini, Aspens top physical therapist and training consultant to TRX®-Fitness Anywhere, designed the ski-conditioning program exclusively for BUMPS FOR BOOMERS.
