BUCK Delivers 32 NFL Team Promos for NFL NetworkPromos to air on the 24-hour cable and satellite network (July 01, 2004)
Los Angeles-based design/production studio BUCK was commissioned by NFL Network to create 32 five-second promos, each one featuring a different NFL team to air on the 24-hour cable and satellite network dedicated to football. The spots were enhanced with the ability to composite footage of coaches and players into the promo.
The objective of all 32 spots was to create a unique setting to remind viewers: "You're Watching NFL Network!" These environments feature elements from the team logos, city skylines and memorable footage from NFL Films. In addition, the BUCK creative developed interaction between the NFL Network logo and the team identities, bringing life to the logos of each team.
Judy Fearing, Senior VP of Consumer Marketing for NFL Network commented, "There's no better way to promote NFL Network than bringing to life the marks of all 32 NFL teams. The promos are fun, entertaining and our fans will enjoy them immensely."
"This was an amazing opportunity to get to work with NFL Network," said BUCK Creative Director Ryan Honey. "It was a real challenge to try and get everything into five seconds, but in the end we were very happy with how they turned out."
NFL Network was represented by Judy Fearing, Senior VP of Consumer Marketing, and Kevin Balluff, Director, On-Air Promotions.
In addition to Creative Director/Co-Owner Ryan Honey, BUCK's multi-disciplined team included Art Director Orion Tait; Executive Producer Maurie Enochson; Producer Nick Terzich; Designers/Animators Clint Chang, Joel Lava, Brad Tucker; Animators Paul Rui, Jose Fuentes, Amy Won. The original music was composed by Cypher Audio and the final audio mix was engineered at Mike Recording.
