Users can easily view a history of changes within any specified scope, gaining insight into who made a change to the bid, the date and time, the new value, old value, and any variance.
Not only does this give management even further insight into the financial details of jobs, it provides a new level of accountability among estimators. Errors can be easily found and reversed during the bid process, before the profitability of the project is jeopardized.
Additional Enhancements for Streamlined Usability
Users can further increase their efficiency by utilizing BID2WIN 2012's unique recycle bin capability to recover from accidental deletions. Available anywhere within an estimate, the recycle bin shows all deleted items and cost components chronologically, with the ability to restore simply with just one click.
BID2WIN 2012 also includes rich text formatting, a highly anticipated enhancement that allows users to enrich the look of their bid forms, making them even more professional and personalized.
Other new features include the ability to better organize job responsibilities by assigning items to estimators, and create subcontractor and vendor RFQ groups based on subtypes.
