(January 18, 2002)
Mindshare Ventures and Future Media Concepts, co-organizers of The New York DV Show, today announced that B&H, the world's largest imaging equipment dealer, has teamed with them to help promote the event, and also to add a significant sales component to the show.

B&H's store is located 1/2 block from the New Yorker Hotel/Manhattan Center, the show's mid-town New York location. As a result, attendees can demo new products on the show's expo floor and purchase them on-site, and they can have their order immediately fulfilled at the B&H store. They'll be able to walk away from the show with their products in hand!

The New York DV Show, scheduled for February 10 to 14 in New York City, is set to be one of the largest events ever held in the professional digital video industry, combining user conferences, technical sessions and workshops, keynote presentations and a full expo. This high-end show, which is also being sponsored by Sharp and Avid in cooperation with Adobe and Apple Final Cut Pro, is geared toward the entire professional DV industry, including editors, producers, directors, communications managers, Web designers, graphic artists and video engineers.

B&H will be providing its extensive industry contacts and marketing resources, allowing The New York DV Show to extend its reach even further, to tens of thousands of DV experts, professional videographers and other users of digital video equipment, services and technologies. The partnership also extends a significant Customer Appreciation Discount, available only to attendees who pre-register online at, before February 9. Attendees who take advantage of this opportunity can save up to $500 off the regular registration cost.

"As a benefit of this unique B&H partnership, we're pleased to offer our full program of 170 classes and special events to B&H customers at a special 'Customer Appreciation Discount,' which has been graciously underwritten by B&H," says Guy Epstein, COO and co-founder of Mindshare Ventures.

Isaac Stein, vice president at B&H, adds, "This partnership gives our buyers of important DV-related products a rare chance to learn how to really get the most out of these tools, thus helping them realize their full creative potential. It demonstrates that B&H is very interested in customer education."

Just some of the marketing services that B&H is offering to help promote the show include: direct mail, e-mail, on-line and in-store marketing activities. And there certainly is a lot to promote. Event highlights include:
