Austin Game Conference taking place October 27-28, 2005 is issuing this call for handy, able-minded speakers who can share their insights. AGC is dedicated to meeting the needs of professionals focused on networked game development including MMOGs, online and Internet multiplayer games for PCs, consoles and mobile games. This call for speakers is for MMO presentations only. 1,400 people attended AGC last year and we're expecting to have close to 2,000 attend this year's conference.

Individuals wishing to consider submitting a proposal should visit http://www.gameconference.com/proposals/. Proposals will be reviewed by the advisory board and AGC staff.

The Austin Game Conference (AGC) is the definitive conference for networked game development, including massively multiplayer online games, mobile and wireless games and devices, and online PC and console games. The event is marketed internationally and provides a venue where developers, technologists and business professionals can network with colleagues, learn from industry leaders, stay informed about the latest tools, technologies and techniques and get business done in a relaxed atmosphere. Attendees include decision-makers setting the standards and looking for insights to improve their businesses and they come to AGC to get the opportunity to drill down to the key issues.

In 2004 attendees heard from industry veterans and luminaries in a program offering more than 125 speakers in 53 sessions and 7 tracks. Over 1,400 people from around the world participated in the 2004 Austin Game Conference, up from 850 people at the first AGC in 2003. The Austin Game Conference draws from an international audience with attendees, speakers and exhibitors from as far away as China, Korea, France, UK, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
