Aurora Continues Upgrade Program Through 2005Registered customers receive 25% discount with product trade-ins (November 03, 2004)
Aurora Video Systems, an industry leader in the development and support of video editing systems since 1997, today announced the company will continue its upgrade program, first introduced in November 2003, through the end of 2005. This program allows registered owners of any older Aurora hardware products to trade in their existing models for newer systems at a 25% discount off list price when purchased directly from Aurora Video Systems. For customers worldwide purchasing Aurora's new PipeStudio video capture and editing solution, this upgrade program provides a $500 savings on qualified PipeStudio purchases.
"Our customers are already taking advantage of this program to upgrade to the new PipeStudio, and have indicated that easy upgrades of our products is one of the key factors they consider when selecting Aurora," said Aurora Video Systems CEO Darryl Hock. "We're pleased to extend our upgrade program as part of our dedication to helping facilities push their creative limits and remain on the forefront of video production technology."
Aurora's family of Pipe cards (Pipe, PipePro, PipeSDI, PipeHD, and PipeStudio) is a true QuickTime solution for the Mac OS. No third-party software is necessary for previewing video in applications other than Final Cut Pro. In addition to moving data from Final Cut Pro and putting it on screen, Aurora Pipe cards provide real-time preview compatibility with programs such as Adobe's After Effects and Discreet's combustion.
