SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/10 -- Attachmate Corporation today announced the availability of Attachmate® Reflection for the Web 2008 R3, a solution that helps securely connect local and remote users to legacy applications on a variety of host platforms including IBM, HP, Unisys, UNIX and OpenVMS. The release further simplifies the ability to centrally install, deploy and control access to legacy applications through enhanced integration with LDAP and Active Directory services. The release also provides support for emerging platforms like zLinux, Google Chrome and the latest versions of Java.
Reflection for the Web 2008 R3 securely delivers fully featured terminal emulation clients inside and outside the organization. Utilizing the newest developments in web technologies, Reflection for the Web 2008 R3 allows IT staff to provide users with instant, yet managed access to applications from nearly any device reducing costly, time-consuming updates typically associated with desktop management.
