Aspect Unified IP System High Availability Validated by MiercomLab Report Showcases Aspect's Ability to Provide High Availability During Power, Network and Media Services Failures (January 10, 2012)

Miercom's testing verified that the Aspect Unified IP software platform demonstrated the same reliability as its hardware-based CallCenter and Spectrum products. The mission-critical features covered included preventing dropped calls with agents or in queue, making sure the queue order is maintained, and one-button reconnect for agent stations. Miercom established that Aspect Unified IP 7 performed predictably for various failure scenarios that included network outages, failure of a virtual machine, and a power outage of physical hosts containing multiple virtual components.
