Businesses can request micro-consulting from people who use specific products, services and software, those with unique hobbies, or people with expertise in specialized fields.

Using a questionnaire format, businesses customize questions and tasks to be completed by micro-consultants. Along with the feedback, which is provided via screencast or written answers, businesses receive a redacted profile of each micro-consultant they hire. Company names and personally identifiable information are excluded from the profiles given to businesses. AskYourUsers.com demographic filters are customizable by businesses and include age, gender, location, computer proficiency, industry, job title, and any additional keywords or requirements needed.
