Artbeats Fast and FreeGroundrush Southwest
Everyone knows that Artbeats is the industry's top name in royalty-free stock footage. This month, they release their latest in the "Ground Rush" series, "Ground Rush 3 - Southwest". While there are several pieces of footage that are from far off locations, others are shot in dangerous, or difficult-to-get-to locales. The ground rush series is covered by a bunch of these descriptions.
In the new movies from Artbeats stock footage, the beauty of the southwest is captured in several clips shot over the clean landscapes of North America's rugged southwest. In new high definition resolution, these images provide clean, dynamic backdrops to animations, effects, or use within straight editorial pieces.
Shot from an A-Star helicopter speeding along desert landscapes at 30-100 miles an hour, the new collection offers a dynamic solution to moving background photography. Although I haven't used the new footage, you can see from the press stills that the imagery is crisp and vibrant. Taken with an HD Gyron Eagle System camera, the footage captures the scenery zipping by.

With scenes from Painted Desert to Red Rock, there a bunch of locations that you may find hard to get to - not to mention fly over. Using these elements are the base of a simple trick to add movement to your graphics or special effects shot.
Adding a moving background to your comp is covered in Stephen Schleicher's tutorial found on CreativeMac. With the video speeding by camera, you only need to "fly" your graphics in the middle of your composition to begin creating your own illusions with these royalty-free artbeats clips.
You can get the HD versions of Ground Rush 3 (1920 x 1080) for $799-$899.
You can get the SD versions of Ground Rush 3 (720 x 486) for $299-$699.
Of course these are also available in D1 PAL as well. Check these and other great clips out at Artbeats at their website by clicking here: ARTBEATS.COM
