Artbeats Announces Stock Footage Collections

New royalty-free libraries to debut at NAB By Dave Nagel
Artbeats today introduced several new collections in its royalty-free stock footage library. The five new collections range from CG effects to aerials to freefall footage and will be showcased, along with 20 other new collections, at the NAB convention in Las Vegas beginning April 6.

New collections available from Artbeats include Dreamlight, Light Waves, Freefall!, San Francisco Aerials and Seattle Aerials. Dreamlight and Light Waves, two CG collections, were created by digital effects artist Richard "Doc" Baily, whose work has appeared in Solaris, The Cell and One Hour Photo. Freefall! features skydiving footage filmed by cinematographer Norman Kent, whose credits include Cliffhanger, Eraser and Drop Zone. The San Francisco Aerials and Seattle Aerials collections were filmed using the equipment and crew from Fast and the Furious 2, Executive Decision, Pearl Harbor and The Hunted.

Artbeats footage is available in various broadcast resolutions, including D1 NTSC and PAL and high-definition 1,920 x 1,080. All of the collections are licensed royalty-free in Apple QuickTime format. D1 prices range from $249 to $699 per collection. HD footage ranges from $799 to $899. For more information, visit
