Applied Science Fiction Announces Digital GEMImage correction plugin designed to reduce noise
Digital GEM is designed to reduce noise and grain in images while maintaining image detail. It operates as a plugin within Photoshop and compatible hosts and can handle a variety of noise and grain types, including noise captured in both film and digital cameras. It includes a Clarity slider for softening and sharpening images and also handles highlight and shadow noise separately.
Digital GEM is available now for Windows for $79.95. Applied Science Fiction lists the Macintosh version on its Web site as "coming soon." For more information, visit http://www.asf.com.
