Apple Releases iDVD 2Update ships on DVD with 1 GB of custom themes
It's not clear yet exactly what's new in iDVD 2, other than support for Mac OS X. As with the previous release, iDVD supports motion menus and allows users to customize themes through a drag and drop interface. (Movies and images can be dragged onto the program to create previews, backgrounds, etc.)
Under OS X 10.1, iDVD allows users to multitask, even while a DVD is being burned. It supports up to 90 minutes of material.
iDVD 2 requires Mac OS X 10.1, a Power Mac G4 and 256 MB of RAM. It's available in English, German, French and japanese versions for a $19.95 shipping and handling. For more information, visit http://www.apple.com.
