Apani Networks Announces VPN Support for Intel-based MacintoshProvides Expanded Security Features and Improved Ease of Use (July 12, 2006)
Apani Networks, the leading enterprise data protection software provider focused on securing inside the network perimeter, today announced VPN support for Intel-based Macintosh. This new release of the Apani VPN client software provides enhanced security and ease-of-use features to help users of Intel-based Macs running Mac OS X Tiger to securely and seamlessly connect to their Nortel Contivity VPN gateway.
The Intel VPN client has many of the same security and connectivity features as Apani's family of VPN clients. New features included in Version 3.4 include:
-- Full VPN security and authenticated access to Intel-based Apple computers and notebooks running Mac OS X
-- Ease-of-deployment, ease-of-use features
-- Ideal for new MacBook notebook computers

Apani's Intel VPN client for Mac version requires a Macintosh computer (Intel or Power Mac G4 or G5) running Mac OS X Tiger 10.4, a CD-ROM drive, 20 MB of free disk space, and 128 MB of RAM. The Apani software is scheduled for July 12th, 2005 availability.
