Animo 4.0 for Mac OS X to Ship in September(August 15, 2001)
“Now Mac OS X users can enjoy the same Animo functionality as users running on Windows and IRIX operating systems,” says Simon Ruffles, Cambridge’s marketing manager. “Users will be able to seamlessly exchange files among Animo systems running on the three major computing platforms.”

"Animo is a great 2D cartoon software package and we are delighted that Cambridge is joining the growing list of developers bringing popular applications to the Mac OS X."
Macromedia Flash output in Animo 4.0 allows users to take advantage of the full power of Animo’s scene graph, exposure sheet, drawing window, filters and effects to create high-quality animations. Special controls such as disabling filter nodes and disabling animation of any bitmap image is also available to reduce the sizes of Flash files for the low bandwidth of the Internet.
