Animation Dynamics Braces For Banner MonthFirm tackles new projects for ESI, Char-Broil, Brookstone and others (July 07, 2004)
More overjoyed than overwhelmed, Animation Dynamics (ADi) is bulging with new jobs ranging from high-tech engineering to Hollywood entertainment. The surge in business includes computer graphics work for ESI (makers of high-tech manufacturing equipment), Char-Broil (makers of outdoor grills, smokers, fryers and fireplaces), Brookstone (specialty retailer of consumer products) and Donut Hole, a new film by Peter Paige.
In the technology department, ADi is producing an ESI tradeshow video, which will detail the inner-workings the new 9835 Semiconductor Workstation. A breakthrough in silicon wafer processing, the 9835 trumps tradition with a laser that employs ultraviolet radiation instead of infrared.
In the consumer products department, ADi is working on two new videos for Euro RSCG 4D DRTV: a Char-Broil in-house sales tool, and a Brookstone point-of-purchase video. The four-minute Char-Broil video will help salespeople make a visceral connection with a yet-to-be-produced grill, while the Brookstone POP piece will show potential customers how the Pure-Ion UV Air Purifier rids homes and offices of nasty, airborne pollutants.
?Im not sure if this is bragging, but our Pure-Ion work was so compelling, two of our staff rushed out after the project and bought units for their homes, says ADi Executive Producer Kate Ertmann.
On the entertainment front, Peter Paige has secured Adis help for special effects and opening credits on his upcoming film, Donut Hole. Recently filmed in Portland, Oregon, Donut Hole will reach ADi for post-editing embellishment in late July.
Founded in 1996, ADi excels in visual communication with a focus on 3D and visual effects for business to business marketing, consumer advertising, direct response television, education and entertainment. Clients range from Fortune 500 high-tech firms to independent film producers. The Portland-based company is recognized for its skill in rendering digital prototypes used in pre-production marketing efforts. 2003 accolades include three Telly Awards for Wilson Sporting Goods, DeMarini Sports and the OPB/Annenberg educational series, Rediscovering Biology.
