"Animation Celebration" Grand Opening ContestRenderosity, Maxon, e-on, Curious Labs, and Linden Lab co-host (July 23, 2004)
Renderosity is pleased to announce the grand opening of the "Animation Outlet," a gallery where artists can "Get plugged in" and showcase their talent. To celebrate, Renderosity has teamed up with Maxon, e-on software, Curious Labs, and Linden Lab to host the "Animation Celebration" Grand Opening Contest. With a huge selection of great prizes, we encourage everyone to come join in the fun! Renderosity will be hosting all the animation files to ensure they are all available for everyone to enjoy.
With the growing popularity of animation, many of our members wanted a place to show off their work with other professionals and with more than 237 million hits per month, Renderosity is definitely the place to be seen.
The contest is now open and the official rules have been posted. Entries will be accepted until 12:00p.m. CST, September 15, 2004. It is open to all software platforms. Please visit Renderosity to view the complete set of rules.

In addition to the "Animation Outlet", Renderosity also announced it's new hosting services last week, geared towards an animator's needs. Many animators find they run out of bandwidth during the last half of the month with their current services. With our new services, we put the user in charge. They decide how much they want to spend and keep track of their activity through an easy management tool set.
"We are really excited to open an animation gallery and to be able to provide this kind of valuable service to our entire community," said Tim Choate, Bondware President, "This will give members another artistic frontier to explore and expand as they continue to push the envelop of digital art."
