Andromeda Releases RedEyePro

Photoshop filter supports Mac OS X By Dave Nagel
Andromeda has released a new filter for Adobe Photoshop called RedEyePro. Andromeda makes a number of filters for Photoshop for Macintosh and Windows, but this is the company's first plugin to be released for Mac OS X. The filter also supports Photoshop 6 and 7 in Mac OS 9 and Windows.

RedEyePro, as its name suggests, is a plugin designed to eliminate red eye in images. It offers two modes--expert and novice--for hands-on or simplified red-eye removal. It has a resizable palette, paint brush tools and selective unapply and unpaint tools. It can fix circular and non-circular red eye and can preserve other iris colors and reflective details. It can be applied to human or animal eyes and is not limited to removing just red. And it works on both RGB and CMYK images.

RedEyePro is available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and WIndows for $39. For more information, visit http://www.andromeda.com.
