If you've ever used some of the default effects in the standard or production bundle of After Effects, you know that it's very easy to create some moving backgrounds in the base software.  We've created 100 seed projects that you can build from.  Here are a few.

Emerson and I have created projects that will help you create your own backgrounds in After Effects.  Yes, it's very easy to create backgrounds in After Effects.  Armed with even the most basic tools in After Effects, the possibilities are virtually endless.

We've created 100 different backgrounds that you can use as starter fuel.  Use these at your own risk.  We aren't going to deconstruct how these are made, or even give you tips (other than what is included in the project) for how to create backgrounds.
