Aerius Smartphones to be Sold in the U.S., EU and Asia(June 22, 2010)
LAS VEGAS, June 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aerius International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AERS) today announced Aerius Smartphones would be sold worldwide. According to Coda Research smartphone sales will total 2.5 billion units by 2015, a compound annual growth rate of 24%.
"Carrier, FCC, and certified lab tests show Aerius phones deliver 2 to 4 more hours of battery life, significantly reduce dropped calls and handset signal loss into users versus other cell phones sold worldwide today," said Bill Luxon, Aerius CEO.
Frost & Sullivan awarded Aerius the 2009 Green Technology Award in Wireless Technologies. The award is posted together with carrier and independent lab test data of Aerius equipped phones on the Aerius website at www.goaerius.com.
"Aerius smartphones will be made in Shenzhen China by a major manufacturer of smart phones for companies worldwide," Luxon reported. "Shenzhen is also the city where 80% of all cell phones in China are made, including the Apple iPhone."
