Adobe Updates InDesign

Mac, Windows version gets bug fixes, performance tweaks By Dave Nagel
Adobe has posted a new update for InDesign, the company's page layout application. The new version, 2.0.2, includes a number of bug fixes and enhancements, especially for users operating under Mac OS X 10.2 or later. It's available as a free download for current users.

The InDesign 2.0.2 update fixes compatibility issues with Norton AntiVirus, fixes problems with the undo and quit functions and now correctly removes formatting from Microsoft Word documents when the "Retain Format" option is deselected in the import dialog box. It also no longer interrupts screen redraw when pressing the spacebar. It also reduces the file size of a PostScript document export (when printing to a PostScript file) when a document contains text that interacts with transparency.

The new update is available for Macintosh and Windows as a free download. For more information or to download the update, visit
