Adobe Updates Camera Raw for Photoshop CSNew version adds support for additional cameras
Camera Raw is a plugin for Photoshop CS that allows users to access and preview raw camera data and apply changes and edits prior to import into Photoshop. The new 2.1 release adds support for the following cameras: Fujifilm F700, S5000 Z and S7000 Z; Kodak DCS720S, DCS760 and DCS 14n; Leaf Valeo 22; Leica Digilux 2; Nikon D2H; Olympus C-5060 Zoom and E-1; Panasonic DMC-LC1; Pentax *ist D; and Sony DSC-F828. (A complete list of supported cameras is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html.) The new version also enhances and fixes some features from the previous release. It now extracts Exif data to XMP and TIFF-tag structures; retains temperature and tint values on images captured on Canon cameras using white balance bracketing; remembers last saved settings; improves green balancing and crosshatch noise reduction; and makes IPTC data from iView visible in the FIle Browser (except for event, status, location and URL fields).
The Camera Raw update is available free for users of Photoshop CS on Mac OS X and Windows systems. For more information, visit http://www.adobe.com.
