Adobe Ships FrameMaker 7.0

New version supports XML and SGML By Dave Nagel
Adobe has released FrameMaker 7.0. FrameMaker is an XML authoring and publishing tool for managing information across networks. The company has also launched FrameMaker Server, designed to automate data-driven content delivery.

This latest version of FrameMaker includes structured authoring tools for XML and SGML, as well as a new WYSIWYG word processing interface. And its template-driven environment lets users publish single-source documents to multiple channels, including print, PDF, Web, eBooks and PDAs. SVG images can also be integrated into documents.

FrameMaker 7.0 now supports World Wide Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) and Adobe?s XMP.
