Adobe Releases Photoshop 7 Extensions

Files fix keyboard shortcut conflict, EXIF colorspace problem By Dave Nagel
Adobe has released two new extensions for Photoshop 7 for the Macintosh. Both are designed to fix minor problems with the program, including one introduced in Mac OS X 10.2.

The Mac OS X Keyboard Shortcut Fix extension fixes a conflict introduced in OS X 10.2, which causes the Command-~ function reserved for the operating system to conflict with the same command in Photoshop (for selecting the image composite in the Channels palette or the Master channel in the Levels and Curves dialogs). In mac OS X 10.2, this command is used for cycling between an application's open windows.

The second extension, called Ignore EXIF Color Space, fixes a problem that was causing Photoshop to interpret images captured by certain cameras as having an embedded sRGB colorspace.

Both downloads are free and available now from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/new.jsp.
