Adobe Customers Shine at 2001 Webby Awards

Adobe Systems today recognized its customers who won 2001 Webby Awards. National Geographic and The Onion received both Webby and People's Voice Awards this year in the Education and Humor categories respectively. won a Webby in the Commerce category, and VolunteerMatch took home a Webby for both Activism and Services.

These companies, along with many others honored at the ceremony, depend upon Adobe's suite of Web design tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe GoLive, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe LiveMotion, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects, to create their award-winning Web sites. The tight integration and smooth workflow between Adobe's Web solutions allow designers to provide their users with a constant flow of timely, interactive content.

"The goal of our site is to create an interesting, interactive experience for everyone. We design everything from traditional educational materials to life-size king cobras and three-dimensional fantasy forests, keeping in mind that the content will be used across all forms of media," said Mark Holmes, vice president, programming and content development for National Geographic.
