Adobe, AlphaGraphics Offer PDF Transit

Service allows designers to connect directly to print shops via Internet By Dave Nagel
Adobe has teamed up with AlphaGraphics to incorporate Adobe PDF Transit technology into AG PDF Express. With the new functionality, AlphaGraphics customers can connect directly to a print shop via the Internet to transmit Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

According to Adobe, PDF Transit enables print shops to create remote printing systems that ensure proper file submission, delivery, job ticketing and billing. The AG PDF Express software is configured to generate Adobe PDF files that match the particular print shop's output devices, so customers can use AlphaGraphics print services from desktop or laptop computers to print content anywhere.

AG PDF Express will be available to download free of charge at the end of May. For more information, visit
