ALAP Updates InBooklet

Imposition plugin for InDesign gets bug fixes, sequential page numbering By Dave Nagel
A Lowly Apprentice Production (ALAP) has released a maintenance update to InBooklet, an imposition plugin for Adobe InDesign 2.0. The new version, 2.1.3, is available now as a free update for Macintosh and Windows.

InBooklet provides imposition tools for InDesign, including the ability to start an imposition on any page and support for 2-up saddle-stitch and perfect bound and 3-up and 4-up consecutive. It provides controls over plate margins, horizontal and vertical gaps, bleeds, crossover and creep and allows for previews of any spread.

The new update fixes a number of minor issues having to do with marks, boxes, page ranges, signature size and other issues. (A complete list is available on ALAP's Web site.) It also adds support for displaying page numbers by sequence number when InDesign's Page Numbering Preferences are set for Absolute Numbering, and it restores the option to print blank pages.

The full version of InBooklet runs $99, with volume licensing and upgrade discounts available. It supports Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows. For more information or to download the update, visit
